Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Neighbors Helping Neighbors is exactly what it sounds like! It’s our hands-on outreach program connecting our Channelview neighbors with information, resources, support, and supplies when we can. It’s simply neighbors looking out for neighbors, and the animals we all share our community with.
What Community Outreach Can Look Like
• Picking up and delivering donated pet food and supplies
• Dropping off and collecting borrowed humane cat traps
• Sharing information about spay/neuter, TNR, and local resources
• Helping with community events and educational pop-ups
• Building winter shelters for community cats and, in the future, insulated dog houses
• Helping with TNR trapping for community cats
• Providing short or long term fostering, if you choose to and when opportunities arise
• Supporting hands on projects that improve the safety and well-being of local animals
• Helping with transportation when needed
Join Our Outreach Team
