Community Cats & TNR

Trap-Neuter-Return is the most effective and humane way to reduce community cat overpopulation. Cats are humanely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, ear-tipped for identification, and returned to their outdoor homes where they can live healthier lives without contributing to future litters.

  • ColonyCat

Software built for grassroots cat rescue. Plan trap nights and follow each cat through trapping, recovery and return. Log who fed a colony and how many cats turned up, so a missing cat is noticed early. Every cat gets a record with photos, ear-tip status and care history, and you can invite volunteers, fosters and transport drivers onto the same set of records.

Free for one person plus a teammate, with paid plans above that. Its Find a group directory also lists rescue groups by city, state or zip, which is worth a look if you would rather join an existing group than start alone.
